After Jack received 20 treatments, we noticed that while doing sports and other gross motor activities he was able to acquire skills, which in the past, he was not. He achieved these skills with accuracy. We saw improvements with buttoning his pants, etc. He started increasing his mean length utterances and sentences using more details. His language was more natural and he was connected to who was around him and whom he was talking to.

Jack is definitely more aware of what is going on around him – joint connection has increased but “abstract” comments are still difficult for him to grasp. During treatments, his hand flapping and humming has greatly decreased. When taking a shower, he tolerates the water over his head and face better. He is completing the tasks of bathroom care more independently, for example, flushing and pulling up his pants prior to walking out of the bathroom without prompting. Jack’s awareness of his surroundings and desire to connect with others has increased.

Jack started making improvements after his third treatment and had minimal regression of what he gained after the treatments.

The staff is very kind and accommodating to me, my son, and even my daughter who waits in the waiting room. They explain everything and are understanding of all my questions.
